As the winds of February blow through we look to the spring ahead with hope in our hearts.
For the winter can seem long and relentless, the sky’s dark and cold inevitably darkens our mood, it colours our days.
Yet as the spring approaches we start to see the new life all around us. An abundance of vigorous growth pushing through despite the snow and ice that resides on the surface.
This is life in its’ entirety, for when the days can be no darker, when the soul yearns for just a break in the clouds, the sun pushes through reminding us that cycles of life remain constant.
That no matter what befalls us we will live on, new chapters, new growth will come.
Nature is synonymous with our soul’s development for like the beautiful daffodils poking their heads above the cold ground, we will be reborn.
From the struggles of this life, we will ultimately be released to grow again, to forge a new path, to dream of that new flower, a perfect bloom.
So, for all those who feel that they cannot withstand another cold damp day, I say to cast your eyes forward, seek out the new growth.
Witness the evidence of mother nature as it marches inexorably on, for it shall not be defeated and neither should you.
You have all you need within you to explore this path of life, be secure in the knowledge that this period of time, no matter how bleak, is only but a winter season from which you will emerge renewed, youthful, full of splendour and hope for the future.
The truth lies within you, all you have to do is go within and seek it.
