Terms & Conditions

You must be at least 18 years old to attend any of the workshops and retreats and at least 18 years old to make a reservation.
Bookings
Our rooms are shared, so the prices shown are per bed, per workshop and are inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate at the time of your reservation.The price stated includes accommodation, course fees, food and refreshments. You can choose to book the room privately (single room supplement) which will include the price for the total number of beds in the room.

  • At the time of booking we ask for a 50% deposit, with the remainder due 14 days before the arrival date.
  • We reserve the right to reject a booking with us without explanation.
  • We reserve the right to require a guest to leave during a workshop if they have brought alcohol or drugs to the premises.
  •  We reserve the right to ask any guest to leave a retreat at anytime, should we feel there is reasonable grounds to do so.

Cancellations

 

  • In case of a cancellation, we refund the deposit up to 30 days before the arrival date. We refund 50% of the total booking costs for cancellations between 30 and 14 days up to the arrival date. Any cancellations less than 14 days before arrival day will incur the full cost of the booking.
  • Cancellations are likely to be rare, but if we have to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances such as tutor cancellation, severe weather, infectious disease outbreaks or structural damage, all fees paid will be refunded (unless you choose to accept any substitute we may offer), but no liability can be accepted for any consequential losses you might incur.
  • You are responsible for transfer fees and bank administration fees. Please check the amount of these fees with your bank at the point of transfer and add any transfer fees that might be incurred with your payment.

You are advised to insure yourself against any losses due to you having to cancel your retreat.

You are expected to read this disclaimer before making use of our services at Holme Hall.

Whilst Healing at Holme Hall does aim to provide a physical, mental and emotional rest for our guests we are strictly not a mental health facility and we do not offer specific professional, clinical or therapeutic mental health provision or services.

Our offerings and services are provided to explore your own personal spiritual development which are led and facilitated by highly experienced practitioners. However these facilitators, tutors and offerings do not diagnose, treat, or propose any results or guaranteed benefit to individuals who are experiencing physical or mental health challenges. In addition, any and all content throughout the website and associated platforms as well as other content and/or testimonials on ancillary social media presence (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, or other) is not intended to diagnose or treat any disease, physical or mental condition, and does not in any way qualify or substitute the advice of a qualified medical or mental health practitioner.

We recognise that some people whilst on workshops with us might reflect on their current mental health or reflect on past experiences and this, in some circumstances might be difficult or worrying. Whilst we do everything we can to support our guests, staff and volunteers we would encourage you –  past, present and potential guests, to make an open and honest assessment about your mental health and whether a stay at Healing at Holme Hall is the right thing at the right time for you and your mental and physical health. It remains your sole responsibility to consult with the appropriate healthcare provider in case of an underlying medical condition, physical or mental before you book a stay. One you have booked your reservation will fall under our normal booking terms and conditions.

In no event whatsoever will Healing at Holme Hall be held liable for any damages sustained for failure to heed the above and any other precautionary or medical advice. Should you not accept or agree with any of the above terms, it is strictly forbidden to avail of the services provided. By accessing and purchasing any services via this or any ancillary platform, you declare your full acceptance and understanding of this disclaimer.

Medical consultation services and recommendations are not included in the provided offerings. Safe and appropriate application of the services is the sole and exclusive responsibility of yourself as the retreat guest. You are expected to take part in our offerings or services through the provided instructions, if any. Healing at Holme Hall will strictly not be held responsible for any physical injury, emotional losses or triggering of mental health episodes and you hereby accept sole responsibility for any losses suffered through your application of any offerings related to emotional wellness techniques or physical exertion.

You embark on any offerings or workshops at your own risk.
By attending a workshop or course at Holme Hall, you hereby agree to hold Healing at Holme Hall harmless before any applicable court of law and waive your right to hold the same accountable for losses suffered from the proper or improper application of information, instruction, and offerings received and/or practiced.

Activities
We reserve the right to make changes to the advertised facilitators and programs as necessary.
Diet
Unless we have been notified explicitly of any dietary, or other requirements at the time of booking and have agreed to them, we cannot guarantee that they will be met.
